Shane Evoy

Born and raised on Georgian Bay, Ontario, Shane was destined to work on water. For thirty-six years, he worked for his father’s, and then his own, boat marina. Shane has been working in Antarctica since 1995. his love of Antarctica is clear in every briefing he delivers aboard as well as his demonstrated passion for the environment.

Shane is one of Quark's most experienced leaders with over two decades of Polar experience under his belt. He is a knowledgeable and impassioned guide with many stories to share. Not only journeying to the most inaccessible areas of Antarctica, he has also included the remote islands of the South Pacific to his travelogue. Shane’s objective on any voyage is to make sure you have the “trip of a lifetime.”
